Tutorial : Heart of Fall

So it’s officially Autumn…starting to get chilly , summer tans are fading , you’ve pulled out the sweaters & boots and now it’s time for a new look. The fall beauty is all about appearing like you didn’t try too hard but somehow you just look flawless. It’s versatile , you can make it work for daytime brunch or a night on the town. Round brush blow dry & orange based makeup. Here you go …

Makeup

We are going to stay in the orange family but not match the tones for the skin, eyes and lids… + highlight like crazy.

1. Base with MAC prep + prime Radiance. Conceal with liquid and use a powder foundation ( Maybelline BB,MAC photo finish )

2.Highlight under your brow, above  your cheek bones, tip of your nose and under your eyes. Tarte shimmering powder is the bomb.

3. Use a light brown based orange to do the crease of your eye very softly.

4. Prestige black eyeliner on top and underneath lash line and Bare Essentials Buxom mascara for lashes … lay it on thick ladies.

5.  Although I’m generally not a fan of using bronzer as blush, Sweep Tokidoki Royal Pride over cheeks for a warm glow.

6.  Line lips with a nude pencil and then add your dark tangerine lip color. Cheapy but goodie, Wet n’ Wild ($1.99) in Carrot Gold

Blowout

1. Use a heat protector/ treatment. Lite Potion #9 from Sebastian won’t make it greasy or flat.

2. Let hair partially air dry while doing makeup. Then section out bang and roll them backwards in a big Velcro curler.

3. Start at bottom and section by section use your round brush to dry and curl at ends slightly.

4. At top start directing hair straight up. Your arms will get tired so be patient and take breaks.

5. Blow out bang backwards in same direction as curler was put in.

6. NO heating tools… a lil more au’ natural for fall.

….. I bet you’re look freaking hot now!
